DeWayne has been farming since he was a small boy. He stared full time farming in 1976 with his father Glenn.  In 1976 the Glenn bought the future site of Newell Farm's before that they rented a farm and house about 2 miles from the currently location near Moorland.  Glenn lived in the "farm house" until 1986 when DeWayne, Robin and 3 sons moved in.  Glenn and Ila Mae purchased a 160 across the road and moved into there new home 1/2 mile away.
